Do I think the 2022 election was stolen? Of course. We have mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, corrupt voter rolls, and no voter ID. All these things are designed to steal elections.
Am I concerned about friends who have had the Covid vaccine? Of course. We have socialized medicine.
Have any of our many other severe nationwide problems—such as wokeness, corrupt education, corrupt mainstream media, the LGBTQ movement, the environmental movement, ESG, crime, government regulation, taxes, inflation, foreign military threats, and insecure borders—abated? Of course not. We are a culture in decline.
Some voices of reason in opposition are gaining prominence. Most of these voices focus on calling out the irrationality. We do not yet have many, if any, prominent voices articulating the rational.
Enough about the world. Now about me.
Arshak Benlian has conducted a series of interviews of me about my book A Validation of Knowledge. The first eight episodes have been published here, and at least three more are to come. Arshak (@agbenlian on Twitter) has been asking me excellent questions.
A good use for the interviews is as a companion to the book. The order of content of the interviews follows the order in the book. One might read a chapter and then listen to an interview (or vice versa), and so on. The interviews, intended for the intelligent layman, could help the listener understand and retain important ideas in each chapter.
Or one could listen to the interviews after reading the whole book. But listening to all the interviews without reading the book would be difficult and probably of little benefit. The ideas in the book require a thoroughness and precision of thought that cannot be captured (at least not by me) in an impromptu discussion. A listener would hear the “gist,” but he would not be in a position to understand the gist.
I am also in the midst of another series of interviews about the book. These interviews are more technical philosophically and assume a prior reading of the book. I will announce and link to this series when publication begins.
Charlotte Cushman has written an excellent article entitled “The Real Purpose of Drag Queen Story Hour,” citing my book Masculine Power, Feminine Beauty. I will post a follow-up essay tomorrow.
